In January, CHINA SHENHUA (01088) achieved a commercial coal output of 27.4 million tons, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. Coal sales reached 33.2 million tons, rising 9.9% year-on-year. Total power generation amounted to 22.22 billion kilowatt-hours, up 34.2% from a year earlier, while total electricity sales reached 20.96 billion kilowatt-hours, growing 34.4% year-on-year.
