Trump Issues Multiple Permits for US-Canada Oil Pipelines

According to documents released by the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump issued several pipeline permits on Wednesday. These included a permit for the construction of a new pipeline intended to facilitate the transport of crude oil and petroleum products between the United States and Canada.
The permit authorizes the Bakken Pipeline Company to build pipeline facilities in Burke County, North Dakota.
Other permits were issued for the maintenance and operation of existing pipelines in the border region between North Dakota and Michigan.
