Oil prices are set to decline! In just 2 days, October's first oil price adjustment will take place. Although September saw two consecutive suspended adjustments, preventing oil prices from continuing their downward trend before the National Day holiday, October's oil prices have now shifted from rising to falling, marking a return to decline.
The oil price adjustment is scheduled for October 13th at 24:00 (Monday night). Following a 10-working-day statistical cycle for this round of oil price adjustments, after 9 working days of data collection and amid recent significant drops in international oil prices, the current crude oil change rate has reached -1.37%. This is expected to result in an oil price reduction of 75 yuan per ton, which translates to a decrease of 0.06 to 0.07 yuan per liter at the pump.
This marks a welcome return to downward oil price momentum after the previous month's stagnation.
