China Env Tec (00646) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group recorded revenue of HK$18.984 million, representing a decrease of 0.6% compared to the same period last year. The loss attributable to owners of the company amounted to HK$25.909 million, marking an increase of 300.45% year-on-year. Loss per share was 7.56 HK cents.

According to the announcement, the increase in the group's loss was primarily attributed to higher foreign exchange losses on RMB-denominated payables and debts resulting from the appreciation of the Renminbi against the Hong Kong dollar, decreased gross profit in the sewage treatment segment, and increased management expenses arising from the newly established energy management division.
