September 3 morning news - Multiple cross-verified sources exclusively revealed that Alibaba's AliExpress is preparing a "highest-level" brand overseas expansion project. Fortune 500 companies and leading domestic and international brands have received invitations, with the project expected to officially launch before Double 11.

Recently, a screenshot of "AliExpress Double 11 Brand Planning" has been circulating among merchant circles. The screenshot shows that Xiaomi, Pop Mart and other companies have been selected for the "Super Brand Plan" and marked as "deep cooperation" partners.

According to sources close to the project, the growth targets set for this cooperation are "very aggressive." AliExpress may establish a new brand zone in its app, providing traffic support and overseas local operation assistance for selected brands.

A brand executive who has long-term cooperation with AliExpress revealed: "This is likely AliExpress's move to further expand growth through 2025's 'Double 11' and 'Black Friday' after recognizing the potential of brand overseas expansion." He noted that over the past three years, the cross-border e-commerce industry has been deeply trapped in low-price competition. Among the "Big Four" cross-border e-commerce platforms, AliExpress has begun to take the lead in brand overseas expansion, with multiple brands achieving significant GMV breakthroughs.

He mentioned, "The previous 'Brand Overseas Expansion Plan' has been internally validated, and the responsible team is very likely to have secured more internal resources recently to drive this business upgrade, with the focus definitely on strengthening cooperation with major brands."

Regarding the above content, AliExpress responded: "We will launch brand overseas expansion related projects in the near future, and specific information will be subject to official announcements."
