CROCODILE-NEW (00122) has announced a proposal to conduct a rights issue, offering up to approximately 35.53 million shares at a ratio of 2-for-1 to qualifying shareholders. Assuming no changes in the number of issued shares as of the record date, the subscription price will be HKD 1.50 per share, reflecting a discount of about 22.68% from the last closing price of HKD 1.94 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The company aims to raise a maximum of approximately HKD 53.29 million (before expenses) through this issuance. If all rights shares are subscribed, the net proceeds of the rights issue are estimated to be around HKD 51.6 million, which is intended for repaying bank loans and interest payments of the group.
