GameStop拟发行17.5亿美元可转债，暗示下一轮比特币购买计划
视频游戏零售商、最初的“网红股”GameStop Corp. （ 游戏驿站 ）周三晚间表示计划筹集更多债务——此举可能表明该公司即将再次购买比特币。
GameStop Corp. 在周三收盘后宣布，拟进行17.5亿美元可转换优先票据的私募发行。
该公司在一份声明中表示，募集资金将用于“一般公司用途，包括以符合GameStop投资政策的方式进行投资及潜在收购”。
这并非GameStop今年首次举债。4月1日，该公司完成了15亿美元的债券发行交易。随后在下个月（5月），它宣布了其首次购买比特币（BTCUSD）。
GameStop在周二发布第一季度财报的附带声明中表示，其购买的4,710枚比特币发生在5月3日至6月10日期间。
在周三的财报公布后，GameStop股价在常规交易时段收跌5.3%。在盘后交易中，其股价进一步下跌超过11%。
今年早些时候，GameStop董事会一致批准更新其投资政策，将比特币纳入其国库储备资产——此举追随了软件公司兼比特币概念股MicroStrategy Inc.（股票代码：MSTR，该公司现以Strategy为运营名称）的相同路径。
这家视频游戏零售商第一季度末持有的现金、现金等价物及有价证券总额为64亿美元，高于去年同期的10亿美元。
