As of 24:00 on October 8, 2025, during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday period, the Ruili Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station in Yunnan processed a total of 122,300 cross-border travelers and 11,900 transportation vehicles across all ports and channels under its jurisdiction. Daily cross-border traffic increased by 15% compared to non-holiday periods, with Ruili Port specifically handling 117,500 travelers.

The border inspection station implemented technology-enhanced rapid clearance procedures, utilizing dynamic traffic diversion management and technology-assisted inspection measures to improve passenger processing speed. Average inspection time was reduced to under 30 seconds, effectively minimizing waiting times for travelers.

Since the start of the holiday period, passenger flow has shown steady growth due to the combined effects of the festive atmosphere and two major events: the China-Myanmar Paobo Festival and the Dehong Border Commodity Fair.

To address the concentrated increase in cross-border traffic during the National Day holiday, the Ruili Border Inspection Station continued implementing mature measures including dynamic traffic diversion management and technology-assisted inspections. Leveraging the previously established AR real-scene cloud monitoring platform at the port, authorities monitored passenger flow density across all channels in real-time and flexibly adjusted police deployment. Through facial recognition-assisted inspection equipment, passenger processing speed was enhanced, with average inspection time shortened to under 30 seconds, effectively reducing waiting times.

Building on this foundation, the border inspection station developed targeted "one channel, one solution" approaches based on the different needs of "conference attendees, exhibition merchants, and tourists" during the holiday period. Special "commercial passenger and cargo fast inspection channels" were established, with dedicated temporary storage areas for exhibition samples, ensuring efficient clearance for business travel groups and exhibition materials, providing solid support for the smooth conduct of both major events.

Additionally, a "two priorities" mechanism was implemented, with dedicated channels opened for Myanmar delegations and conference participants. The "dedicated personnel and intelligent clearance" model compressed delegation processing time to within 2 minutes.

During the holiday period, the Ruili Border Inspection Station optimized clearance procedures, increasing cargo clearance speed by over 60%. The "Belt and Road" channel was activated for 15 batches of over 260 China-Myanmar cultural exchange delegations, participating merchants, and other key groups, ensuring smooth clearance for all categories of travelers.

Since the holiday began, cross-border traffic at Ruili Border Inspection reached 122,300 travelers due to the combined effects of the festive atmosphere and the two major events. The station optimized clearance procedures and activated the "Belt and Road" channel for key groups, ensuring smooth clearance operations.

Zha Yufei, Deputy Director of the Border Inspection Department at Ruili Border Inspection Station, explained: "During this National Day holiday clearance support operation, we not only fulfilled our service commitment that 'Chinese citizens' entry-exit waiting time does not exceed 30 minutes,' but also provided precise and differentiated border inspection services that built a solid bridge for the China-Myanmar Paobo Festival to deepen bilateral民间友谊 and for the Dehong Border Commodity Fair to expand cross-border cooperation. Ruili Border Inspection Station will continue advancing 'smart port' construction, exploring and improving the application of 'big data+' models in holiday passenger flow management, further optimizing clearance procedures, and helping Ruili Port become a 'golden channel' for China-Myanmar border economic, trade, and cultural exchanges, safeguarding Dehong's economic development and coordinated development of the China-Myanmar regional industrial chain."

Special "commercial passenger and cargo fast inspection channels" were established to ensure efficient clearance for business travel groups and exhibition materials.
