Stephen Lu will concurrently serve as EVP for strategy.

Seatrium Limited has announced the appointment of Stephen Lu as the company’s chief financial officer, effective 28 April, after Adrian Teng resigned to pursue personal interests.

In a statement, Seatrium said Lu will also continue holding the role of executive vice president for strategy.

Lu, who holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, has more than 15 years of experience in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance, focusing on the energy and infrastructure industries.

Before joining Seatrium, he held various roles in other companies, such as director of the portfolio development group at Temasek and management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group.

“Stephen’s deep business and financial expertise will greatly support Seatrium’s next phase of growth and transformation,” said Seatrium CEO Chris Ong.
