Zhejiang Province has officially launched the construction of a National Artificial Intelligence Application Pilot Base (focusing on intelligent specialist doctors in the medical field). The base project will leverage Zhejiang's technological innovation advantages in large models, humanoid robots, and intelligent computing, focusing on providing common solutions for the healthcare industry and building a pilot verification platform that encompasses computing power guarantee, data support, model development, verification and evaluation, and achievement transformation. This will provide fundamental support and pilot verification services for medical institutions, research institutes, and industry enterprises nationwide to develop and apply medical artificial intelligence technologies and products.

In 2023, the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission collaborated with Ant Group Co., Ltd. to create "An Zhen'er," the nation's first digital-physical integrated, province-wide shared digital health platform. The platform integrates over 30 intelligent health services, has connected more than 400 medical and health institutions within the province, and has served over 60 million users. It can save patients an average of 20 minutes during medical visits and was recognized as one of the top ten new initiatives in the 2024 national "Advancing Medical Reform to Serve People's Health" program, and was selected as an outstanding case for new digital services by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
