Chiho Environmental Group Limited (HKEX: 00976) announced a leadership reshuffle effective 17 August 2026, consolidating corporate governance and operational oversight.
Chiho Environmental has promoted Executive Director Fu Tao to Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Executive Committee. Concurrently, Executive Director Yao Xiang assumes the newly established role of Chief Executive Officer while retaining his directorship. Yao will sign a separate CEO service agreement; his existing director contract remains unchanged. The Board confirmed that Yao holds no shares in the company under Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
Executive Director Yang Wei is now Chairman of both the Strategy and Investment Committee and the Pricing Committee, strengthening strategic oversight across investment decisions and pricing policies.
Executive Director Zhou Shuli joins the Executive Committee and, as of 11 August 2026, serves as Head of Human Resources and Administration with approved remuneration of HK$0.05 million per month. Her director service agreement remains in force.
Following these changes, the Board comprises five executive directors—Chu Yuejiang, Yao Xiang, Fu Tao, Yang Wei and Zhou Shuli—supported by three independent non-executive directors: Ng Man Fung Walter, Wu Jian and Choi Wai Hong Clifford.
The appointments mark a significant step in Chiho Environmental’s leadership transition and refine the company’s governance structure through targeted committee realignments.
