China CITIC Bank Corporation Limited (CITIC Bank) disclosed that its Board, at a meeting held on 20 March 2026, resolved to seek shareholder approval for prolonging the effective period of all resolutions related to its proposed A- and H-share rights issue by an additional 12 months—from 22 June 2026 to 22 June 2027.

The original resolutions were passed at the 23 June 2022 Annual General Meeting and two concurrent class meetings, carrying an initial validity of 12 months. Subsequent shareholder meetings in 2023, 2024 and 2025 had already extended this period to 22 June 2026. The latest extension is intended to preserve procedural continuity while the rights issue remains subject to Shanghai Stock Exchange review and China Securities Regulatory Commission registration.

Apart from the proposed time extension and earlier technical amendments announced on 17 and 23 February 2023, all other terms of the rights-issue plan remain unchanged.
