During this year's National Day holiday, Hunan Airport Group recorded a total passenger throughput of 803,000 and 5,473 flight movements, with daily passenger traffic reaching 122,000 on October 1 alone.

Changsha Airport accounted for 684,000 passengers and 4,452 flight movements, with daily traffic exceeding 100,000 on October 1. The primary destinations were major domestic cities and popular tourist spots such as Beijing, Xi'an, Kunming, Chengdu, Shanghai, Haikou, and Urumqi.

Meanwhile, international passenger traffic at Changsha Airport during the holiday reached 24,234, up 18.05% year-on-year, indicating a strong recovery in inbound tourism.

In July this year, Changsha Airport introduced the "Fly via Changsha — Door-to-Door Baggage" service. Arriving passengers can handle the service at baggage delivery counters in T1 and T2 arrival halls, while departing passengers can submit baggage delivery requests at three city check-in locations: Wanjiali, Wuyi Square subway station, and Changsha South Railway Station.

Since July, the service has delivered a total of 27,897 pieces of luggage, earning praise from many out-of-town visitors.

During this year's National Day holiday, Changsha's cultural and tourism popularity continued to rise, and the airport's "Door-to-Door Baggage" convenient delivery service was widely welcomed, with orders hitting a peak.

Throughout the entire National Day holiday, Changsha Airport delivered a total of 2,909 pieces of luggage, averaging 416 pieces per day. On October 6 alone, 581 pieces were delivered, setting a single-day record since the service was launched. This effectively reduced the burden for visitors to Hunan and families traveling, truly realizing the vision of "traveling in Changsha with ease."

To cope with the surge in "Door-to-Door Baggage" service orders during the holiday, the airport increased staffing and transport capacity in advance and optimized the entire chain of processes including booking, handover, and delivery. Online mini-programs and offline counters at the terminal accepted requests simultaneously, ensuring efficient service operation.

Next, Changsha Airport will continue to optimize the "Door-to-Door Baggage" service network, expand its coverage, further enhance travel convenience for both arriving and departing passengers, and safeguard pleasant journeys with refined services.
