Minth Group Limited (425), AISIN Corporation, and Toyota Tsusho to Establish JV for Aluminum Body Frame Parts

Minth Group Limited (425) announced a new venture with AISIN Corporation and Toyota Tsusho to produce aluminum body frame parts. The planned entity, ATM Automotive, will be based in Ontario, Canada, aiming to reinforce supply capabilities for aluminum body frame parts across North America.

According to the announcement dated 10 February 2026, the ownership of ATM Automotive will be split at 40% for Minth Canada, 40% for AISIN Corporation, and 20% for Toyota Tsusho. The board of directors is expected to comprise five members: two each from Minth Canada and AISIN, and one from Toyota Tsusho. In addition, Toyota Tsusho is slated to nominate the chief executive officer, Minth Canada will nominate the chief operating officer, and AISIN will nominate the chief financial officer.

Minth Group Limited primarily engages in research and development, production, and sales of auto parts—including metal and trim products, plastic components, aluminum products, and battery housing—as well as toolings and moulds. AISIN Corporation is a global automotive parts manufacturer and supplier founded in Japan. Toyota Tsusho is a publicly listed trading and investment company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, also belonging to the Toyota Group.

The parties intend for the new venture to meet rising market demands for lightweight aluminum body frame parts amid growing electrification needs in the automotive industry. The collaboration is expected to strengthen the product supply chain for North American customers and support future manufacturing requirements in the region.
