Financial capital is increasingly intersecting with the artificial intelligence sector. Oshidori (00622) has announced a landmark deal to issue 1.18 billion new shares at HK$2.70 each to Nova Scope Ventures Limited, generating approximately HK$3.186 billion in proceeds as part of a strategic initiative to bring AI-focused investor Terminus on board.

Upon completion of the transaction, Nova Scope Ventures Limited will hold a 14.53% stake in Oshidori, while Oshidori will indirectly own roughly 49.60% of Terminus Shanghai, also referred to as the China Operating Company. This entity will serve as the joint venture platform, with a registered capital of RMB 3.4 billion. The move is classified as a long-term significant investment for Oshidori, marking its rapid entry into the AI industry.

The partnership is built on a foundation of mutual strengths. By leveraging their respective industrial and technological advantages, the two parties aim to pursue deep strategic synergies and expand their presence in artificial intelligence. Financially, the transaction offers substantial underlying support. Following its completion, Oshidori's net assets are projected to climb to approximately HK$7.51 billion, boosting both its capital base and its industrial footprint. As of the last trading session, Oshidori's market capitalization already stood at HK$20.9 billion, underlining its solid financial health and ample capacity to fuel ongoing AI investments and collaboration.

Where to begin with this development? For Oshidori, it represents a direct ticket into the artificial intelligence arena, offering a strategic avenue to capitalize on the sector's rapid growth trajectory.

The technical dimension of this collaboration is equally compelling. Terminus is tackling the challenge of domestic computing power shortages by using AI to optimize AI itself. At the core of its approach is an AI intelligent optimization engine and Agent cluster scheduling system, which integrates a closed-loop business chain spanning intelligent computing centers, computing power leasing, and Token factories. This architecture delivers layered, flexible, and highly scalable AI productivity solutions. The system positions AI Infra Agents as adaptive hubs, significantly shortening chip deployment timelines, maximizing hardware utilization, and enabling autonomous fine-tuning. It extends AI optimization from the operator level to the full stack, marking a shift toward system-driven automated optimization.

Why does this matter so much? Terminus's self-developed hybrid computing platform connects the model-computing-Token pipeline, evolving traditional manual computing power allocation into a more sophisticated model-driven customization, where Agents autonomously manage resources, optimize caching, and minimize human intervention. Computing cluster configurations are tailored based on specific model requirements, consistently enhancing Token output per unit of computing power and boosting overall cluster operational efficiency. By integrating downstream domestic computing ecosystems and supporting a wide range of chip architectures, while upstream leveraging agents to expand Token production capacity, Terminus has established a value loop that merges AI hardware and software seamlessly. Given the explosive growth in AI computing power demand, the scarcity of such assets is undeniable.

From Terminus's perspective, this arrangement is also a catalyst for broader capital market recognition of its AI assets, technical expertise, and growth prospects. The announcement makes it clear that this is a partnership designed for shared, long-term development, with both entities committed to building value together over time.
