Samsung announced yesterday (August 18) the launch of Galaxy Buds3 FE true wireless (TWS) earphones, featuring AI functionality, active noise cancellation (ANC), and other flagship characteristics, priced at $149.99 (approximately 1,078 yuan at current exchange rates), set to launch in the United States on September 4, 2025.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE is not currently visible on Samsung's Chinese official website. The Galaxy Buds FE represents Samsung's most budget-friendly earphone option, while the Galaxy Buds3 FE serves as the new successor in its Fan Edition series.
In terms of design, the Galaxy Buds3 FE adopts a new "stem-style" design, with an appearance closer to the Galaxy Buds3 and Apple AirPods. Color options include black or gray configurations.
Regarding specifications, the Galaxy Buds3 FE supports active noise cancellation (ANC) and features adjustable sound modes, allowing users to freely switch between immersive listening and ambient awareness. Each earphone weighs only about 5 grams, with an IP54 protection rating providing dust and splash resistance, making them suitable for daily commuting or exercise use.
For battery life, the Galaxy Buds3 FE earphones contain a built-in 53mAh battery, with the charging case having a 515mAh capacity. With ANC enabled, full battery life reaches 6 hours, while with ANC disabled, maximum usage extends to 8.5 hours. Combined with the charging case, total battery life can extend up to 20 hours.
The intelligent experience represents a major highlight of the Galaxy Buds3 FE, with the earphones fully integrated into the Galaxy AI ecosystem, supporting voice translation, call voice isolation, and seamless switching between connected devices.
