The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference and the First Green Industry and Sustainable Consumption Expo were held from October 16 to 18 at the Shanghai Expo Park. Park Ji-hyun, Chief Sustainability Officer of L'Oreal China and North Asia, attended and delivered a speech.

During her address, Park Ji-hyun highlighted that L'Oreal has focused on sustainability since 1978. As of last year, the company achieved 97% renewable energy usage across all sites, reaching 100% in China and North Asia by 2020, significantly outpacing other regions.

She also expressed a commitment to creating more job opportunities for vulnerable groups, noting that L'Oreal has already generated over 4 million jobs globally.

Park emphasized the importance of sustainable innovation, consumption, partnerships, and development. "For L'Oreal, sustainability is not just a project or a function; it is part of our values. It has been integrated into our corporate aspirations, ensuring transparency in all related activities, and we hope that future sustainability initiatives will better reflect our core values," she stated.

The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference was jointly organized by the World Green Design Organization (WGDO) and Sina Group, with assistance from the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS Foundation) Beijing office. Sina Finance and the Beijing representative office of WGDO hosted the event, supported by the Huangpu District People's Government of Shanghai.
