Air Lease (AL) shares jumped 6.4%. The company has agreed to be acquired by a Dublin-based holding company backed by Sumitomo Corporation and other investors for $65.00 per share in cash. The transaction values the aircraft leasing company at approximately $7.4 billion, representing a 7% premium to its all-time high stock price. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
