Hans Group Holdings (00554) Commences Renovation of Dongzhou International Terminal

Bulletin Express
Nov 19

Hans Group Holdings Limited (the “Company”) announced that refurbishment of Dongzhou International Terminal (DZIT) commenced on 19 November 2025. The renovation, approved by the Dongguan Development and Reform Bureau in June 2025, aims to transform a 50,000-tonne oil and gas berth into a specialized liquefied hydrocarbon berth with an annual design throughput capacity of 2.02 million tonnes. The project is expected to finish by the end of June 2026, and the Company anticipates that its completion will boost revenue.

In conjunction with the government approval, the Company’s subsidiary, Dongguan Dongzhou International Petrochemical Storage Limited (DZ International), entered into a long-term liquefied hydrocarbon service agreement, with revenue sufficient to cover renovation costs and provide additional income. DZ International will retain an 80,000-tonne oil and gas berth for current oil and liquid chemical operations, ensuring uninterrupted existing business.

The Company states that this renovation project represents a strategic move into the rapidly growing liquefied hydrocarbon chemical sector. By diversifying DZ International’s services and leveraging higher average handling fees for liquefied hydrocarbon products, the project is expected to strengthen the Company’s foothold in the energy logistics industry.
