JS GLOBAL LIFE (01691) rose more than 8% in early trading, with gains narrowing to 5.58% by press time, reaching HK$2.08 and a turnover of HK$52.38 million. The surge follows the launch of Joyoung Soymilk's new product, "Hakimi North-South Mung Bean Soymilk," which went viral on e-commerce platforms due to its clever integration of internet trends and commercial appeal. Meanwhile, A-share Joyoung Co.,Ltd. (002242.SZ) hit the daily limit-up for two consecutive days.
It is worth noting that JS GLOBAL LIFE is controlled by Wang Xuning, the actual controller of Joyoung Co.,Ltd. However, despite the similar branding, Joyoung Soymilk and Joyoung Co.,Ltd. operate independently. Joyoung Soymilk is owned by Hangzhou Joyoung Soybean Industry Co., Ltd., though the two companies once had historical equity ties.
Joyoung Co.,Ltd.'s board secretary clarified that the company has no products related to "Hakimi hachimi" and emphasized that its core business focuses on small kitchen appliances, with no involvement in food or beverage products.
