根据微软的财报，分析师意外发现了一项费用：其对OpenAI的投资损失达41亿美元。
这一数字比去年增加了490%。根据微软上季度报告的32.5%持股比例，Bernstein的分析师Firoz Valliji指出，这意味着OpenAI的季度亏损超过120亿美元。
这是因为微软对其OpenAI的持股采用了股权法会计，直接报告在该AI公司所产生的损失或收入。OpenAI最近重组为营利性实体，未来微软将在该公司中拥有27.5%的股份。
在三个月内亏损120亿美元，将成为科技公司历史上最大的单季度亏损之一。这一亏损接近OpenAI向投资者透露的全年营收130亿美元的预期。
由于OpenAI并不公开报告财务结果，因此导致亏损的具体原因尚不清楚。该公司因在训练新AI模型上花费巨额计算成本，同时整个行业正在进行一场昂贵的人才争夺战。
