全球顶尖咨询机构波士顿咨询集团（BCG）近日宣布北美业务新负责人，委任一位资深高级合伙人执掌这家咨询巨头最大区域市场的运营。此次人事变动正值该集团在多项业务中大力推进人工智能技术应用之际。
据悉，BCG于周三通过内部备忘录向员工通报，现任波士顿办公室负责人的梅尔·沃尔夫冈将于5月1日正式接任北美区主席职务。沃尔夫冈拥有流体动力学博士学位，长期深耕航空航天、工业制造、运营管理及物流供应链等核心业务领域。近年来，他更投入大量精力参与BCG内部合伙人培养体系建设，致力于打造新一代领导梯队。
作为众多美国上市公司高管的智囊团，BCG的人事动向一直受到商界密切关注。沃尔夫冈将接替自2021年起担任该职位的莎伦·马西尔，后者任期即将届满。被业内誉为BCG"头号业务开拓者"的马西尔将继续以高级合伙人身份服务重要客户。
