On the news front, according to CATL's official announcement, Li Auto and CATL signed a five-year comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement and completed the licensing ceremony on September 18. The two companies will engage in deep collaboration in battery safety and super charging technology, jointly expanding domestic and international business while promoting battery technology innovation and global deployment.
As long-term partners, CATL will provide high-performance, high-safety, and high-quality power battery systems for Li Auto's entire product lineup, including but not limited to ternary lithium batteries, M3P batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, and sodium-ion batteries, injecting core momentum for Li Auto's premium intelligent electric vehicle experience.
To date, Li Auto vehicles equipped with CATL batteries have achieved cumulative deliveries exceeding 1 million units, with no thermal runaway incidents caused by battery-related issues.
