Major Shareholders Reduce Stakes in Montage Technology: China Electronics Investment Realizes 16.5 Billion Yuan, Zhuhai Rongying Nearly 15 Billion Yuan

Montage Technology Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 688008) has announced that its shareholder China Electronics Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., together with its concert party Jiaxing Chip Investment Partnership, and shareholder Shanghai Rongying Enterprise Management Partnership, along with its concert party WLT Partners, L.P., have executed a reduction in their shareholdings.

Prior to the reduction, China Electronics Investment and its concert parties held a 5.97% stake. By January 9, 2026, they had collectively sold 11,135,090 shares via centralized bidding, representing 0.97% of the company's total share capital at the time of the plan's announcement.

The shares were sold between October 10, 2025, and January 9, 2026, at prices ranging from 144.50 yuan to 158.71 yuan per share, generating approximately 16.53 billion yuan in proceeds. Following this reduction, their combined stake stands at 4.99%.

Zhuhai Rongying and its concert party WLT previously held an 8.24% stake. Zhuhai Rongying sold 11,451,451 shares through centralized bidding, accounting for 1.00% of the total share capital at the announcement date.

The sale occurred between October 10, 2025, and January 9, 2026, with prices between 112.79 yuan and 155.52 yuan per share, resulting in proceeds of about 14.78 billion yuan. After the reduction, Zhuhai Rongying retains a 3.31% stake.

Montage Technology recently listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, issuing 65.89 million shares at an offer price of 106.89 Hong Kong dollars each, raising 7.043 billion Hong Kong dollars. After deducting listing expenses of 138 million Hong Kong dollars, the net proceeds amounted to 6.9 billion Hong Kong dollars.

The stock opened at 168 Hong Kong dollars, surging 57.1% above the offer price. It continues to trade over 50% higher, with the company's market capitalization exceeding 190 billion Hong Kong dollars.
