当地时间本周五（12月20日），视频共享平台和云服务提供商 Rumble Inc. 宣布，已与USDT发行商Tether达成最终协议，获得7.75亿美元的战略投资。投资和要约收购预计将于2025年第一季度完成。
Rumble是一家高增长视频平台和云服务提供商，采用去中心化的信息传播模式，提供了更加开放和多样化的内容，吸引了众多创作者和用户。据悉，Rumble的用户数在过去一年里增长了超过200%。
公司表示，将把2.5亿美元融资用于支持增长激励。Rumble的主席兼首席执行官Pavlovski的超级大股东投票权并没有因为最新股权变化而发生变动。
Tether发行的USDT是全球使用最广泛的美元稳定币，拥有超过35000万用户。它的价值相对稳定，通常被用作加密货币交易中的避险资产和交易媒介。
