CCIAM FUTURE EN (00145) plummeted 62% in early trading, narrowing its monthly gain from 260% to less than 40%. As of press time, the stock fell 62.2% to HK$0.223, with a turnover of HK$42.73 million and a market cap below HK$83 million.
The company announced on December 19 that it had allotted and issued approximately 122 million rights shares on the basis of "1 rights share for every 2 existing shares" held as of the record date. Notably, in October this year, the company proposed a rights issue at an 18.62% discount under the same "2-for-1" ratio, aiming to raise up to HK$17 million net. By early December, only about 20.98% of the rights shares were effectively subscribed.
