Nissan to Sell Yokohama Headquarters to Hong Kong-listed MINTH GROUP for $584 Million

According to informed sources, Nissan Motor has agreed to sell its global headquarters building in Yokohama to a consortium backed by Hong Kong-listed auto parts manufacturer MINTH GROUP for 90 billion yen ($584 million).
The acquisition will be led by a special purpose company managed by KJR Management and funded by major auto parts supplier MINTH GROUP. KJR is the Japanese real estate subsidiary of private equity giant KKR & Co. The sources requested anonymity as the matter remains private. Earlier reports indicated KKR was the leading bidder for the 22-story building.
The sources added that Nissan plans to announce the deal later on Thursday.
