JU TENG INTL (03336) announced that the group has appointed cybersecurity consultants to investigate the incident. The investigation revealed that four out of six assessed hosts were subject to unauthorized access, with traces of third-party synchronization and external transfer tools found on some affected hosts. Based on the group's internal investigation, the information disclosed in the related dark web post includes certain historical business documents provided by the group's clients and internal group files. This information does not constitute undisclosed inside information of the company. Upon discovering the incident, the group immediately took measures to identify potential unauthorized access points and took appropriate action to sever their connection to the group's servers. Since the investigation began, the group has implemented additional cybersecurity measures, including but not limited to preparing firewall upgrades, establishing dedicated jump servers to further restrict server access, disabling external functions of firewall management services, and minimizing access rights for remote sites to prevent cross-site connections. The group has also adopted other additional security measures based on the recommendations of the cybersecurity consultants to prevent similar attack incidents and remains in contact with clients whose information was affected by the event.
