On June 3rd, China Zheshang Bank Co.,Ltd. (ASX: 601916) announced that it has received official approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration for the appointments of Zhou Weixin and Pan Huafeng as Deputy Presidents of the bank.
Background of the Appointees
Zhou Weixin, born in June 1971, currently serves as a member of the Party Committee and Assistant to the President at CZBANK. He holds a bachelor's degree and professional titles as an Economist and a Senior Certified Credit Analyst. His career includes extensive experience at Bank of China, where he held various leadership roles such as President of the Lin'an Sub-branch, President of the Hangzhou High-tech Zone Sub-branch, and President of the Zhoushan Branch. He also served as General Manager of the Risk Management Department, Office Director, and General Manager of the Personal Finance Department at Bank of China's Zhejiang Branch. Subsequently, he was appointed as a member of the Party Committee and Deputy President of Bank of China's Anhui Branch. From November 2019 to December 2021, he was assigned to work in Bengbu City as a member of the Municipal Leading Party Members' Group and Deputy Mayor. Prior to his new appointment, he was the President of the Zhejiang Business Headquarters at CZBANK.
Pan Huafeng, born in January 1972, currently holds the positions of member of the Party Committee, Assistant to the President, and Chief Risk Officer at CZBANK. He is a bachelor's degree holder and an Economist. His professional background is also rooted at Bank of China, where he progressed through roles including Deputy Section Chief and Section Chief in the Credit Management Department of the Ningbo Branch, Deputy President of the Yinzhou Sub-branch, and Deputy Director and Director of the Risk Management Department at the Ningbo Branch. He joined CZBANK and has served as Deputy Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Risk Monitoring Officer, Assistant to the President, Deputy President, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of the Ningbo Branch. He later took on the role of General Manager of the Risk Management Department at the bank's headquarters, concurrently serving as Director of the New Capital Office, before his most recent position as General Manager of the Risk Management Department.
