\n\nFollowing the transaction, the company’s issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) declined from 2.69 billion to 2.69 billion, representing a 0.0186% reduction. Treasury shares rose to 58.04 million, while total issued shares—including treasury stock—remained unchanged at 2.75 billion.

\n\nThe buyback was conducted under the mandate approved on 26 June 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 270.56 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 15.34 million shares, equivalent to 0.567% of the issued share base at the mandate date.

\n\nAll repurchased shares from the latest transaction are being held as treasury stock; none have been cancelled. Under Hong Kong Listing Rule 10.06(3)(a), Zhongyu Energy is restricted from issuing, selling, or transferring any shares until 16 October 2026.
