China Resources Power Holdings Limited (CR Power) was established in August 2001 and listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in November 2003 under stock code 00836. It is currently a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Index. As a Hong Kong-listed company under the China Resources Group, CR Power is recognized as one of China's most efficient and profitable comprehensive energy enterprises. Its operations span various sectors including wind power, photovoltaic power generation, thermal power, hydropower, distributed energy, electricity retail, integrated energy services, and coal.

The East China Region of CR Power was established in January 2021 as a secondary unit of the company. Its jurisdiction covers four provinces and one municipality: Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Shanghai. The region's business encompasses thermal power generation, wind power, solar power, distributed energy, electricity sales, maintenance, heat supply, integrated energy services, and coal. It oversees eight regional companies: Xuzhou Company, Nanjing Company, Zhejiang Company, Sunan Company, Zhenjiang Company, Anhui New Energy Company, Fuyang Company, and Fujian Company.

By the end of 2024, the total installed capacity of the East China Region reached 22,056 megawatts. This includes 17,026 megawatts of operational capacity, comprising 14,776 megawatts of thermal power and 2,250 megawatts of new energy. An additional 5,030 megawatts were under construction, including 2,000 megawatts of thermal power and 3,030 megawatts of new energy. New energy sources account for 23.9% of the total installed capacity. The region's total assets amount to RMB 55.542 billion.

The region employs 4,561 staff members, with an average age of 41.2 years. Among them, 73.2% hold a bachelor's degree or higher, and 35.3% are Communist Party members. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply via the designated mini-program.
