On March 10, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, along with eight other departments, issued the "Jiangsu Province Brain-Computer Interface Industry Innovation and Development Action Plan." The plan emphasizes the cultivation of specialized and advanced enterprises. It aims to establish a tiered cultivation system for such enterprises in key hardware and software areas, including flexible electrodes, brain-computer chips, and software systems. The initiative will focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises with strong innovation capabilities, specialization in niche markets, and high growth potential. Universities and research institutions will be encouraged to open their experimental environments to enterprises, enhancing talent and technology exchange to accelerate technological breakthroughs and process upgrades. The goal is to nurture a group of "little giant" enterprises, manufacturing champions, "unicorns," and "gazelle" companies.
