Prudential completes further share buyback

Prudential plc announced that it repurchased 364,010 ordinary shares on Mar, 12 2026 through the London Stock Exchange.

The shares were bought at prices ranging from GBP 10.74 to GBP 10.93, for a total consideration of approximately GBP 3.94 million. All the repurchased shares are intended to be cancelled.

Following cancellation of the 291,757 shares completed on Mar, 12 2026, Prudential’s issued share capital stands at 2,532,583,997 ordinary shares. Additional repurchases of 787,948 shares executed on Mar, 11–12 2026 remain outstanding for cancellation.

Under the current shareholder mandate dated May, 14 2025, Prudential is authorised to repurchase up to 262,668,701 shares; to date, 74,645,444 shares (about 2.87% of the share count on the mandate date) have been bought back. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or sales runs until Apr, 11 2026.
