Baozun’s 2025 Sustainability Report Highlights 26.96% Reduction in Scope 1-2 Emissions and 11,042-Tonne Packaging Reuse

Baozun-W (HKEX: 09991; NASDAQ: BZUN) has published its sixth Sustainability Report, detailing environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Environmental Progress • Greenhouse-gas management – Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions (excluding Gap China) fell 26.96 % from the 2021 base year to 12,653.12 tCO₂e. Renewable energy accounted for 13.65 % of total power consumption, backed by 3,804.97 MWh of self-generated solar electricity. • Carbon-neutral roadmap – Targets include a 50 % cut in Scope 1-2 emissions and Scope 3 emissions by 2030 (vs. 2021) and full value-chain carbon neutrality by 2050. • Resource efficiency – Water consumption declined 11.78 % year on year to 231,358.60 m³. Energy intensity stood at 3.89 MWh per RMB million of revenue. • Waste and packaging – Recycling of packaging materials totalled 11,042 tonnes, up 16.42 % year on year; warehouse initiatives trimmed paper usage by 6.78 million sheets.

Operational Decarbonisation • Two logistics parks (Tuopu and Yishang) obtained ISO 14068-1 carbon-neutral verification; Baotong E-logistics also secured ISO 14064-1 certification. • Four additional parks installed rooftop solar arrays, expanding PV coverage to 74,000 sqm. • An autonomous electric vehicle fleet commenced service in 2025, further cutting diesel use; electric forklifts and biodiesel adoption complemented the shift. • IoT-based integrated energy management piloted to coordinate HVAC, lighting and PV systems, aiming to trim annual power costs by roughly RMB 2.50 million.

Governance and Risk Oversight • The Board-level Sustainability Committee reviews climate strategy and progress annually; climate targets are embedded in management KPIs. • Risk controls span a three-line-of-defence model, with 36 risk issues rectified in 2025 and a 65 % remediation rate by year-end. • Anti-corruption training covered 100 % of directors and employees; no corruption or anti-trust cases were recorded.

Supply-Chain & Product Stewardship • Supplier base reached 5,887, of which 1,081 underwent environmental and social assessments; all met compliance requirements. • Significant suppliers (67 entities) accounted for 81.60 % of Tier-1 spending and faced enhanced ESG reviews. • Green packaging measures—carton right-sizing, reusable strapping and self-adhesive seals—drove material reductions; all warehouses achieved 100 % waste sorting.

Human Capital Development • Workforce totalled 8,550, with women representing 55.97 % of management roles. • Training programmes delivered 54,750.50 hours (8.10 hours per employee). • Baozun became an accredited vocational skill-evaluation institution and trained 2,000 students via industry-academia initiatives.

Information Security & Ethics • Retained ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications; no data-privacy breaches reported. • Conducted 57 penetration tests, managed 73 client security consultations and received the Shanghai “Panshi Action” Excellence in Emergency Response Award.

Community Investment • Charitable donations reached RMB 4.78 million, focusing on rural education and eye-care projects; over 200 employees joined the “Reviving Old Shoes” recycling drive.

Baozun states that sustainability remains integral to its “e-commerce services + brand management” dual-engine strategy as it pursues long-term, low-carbon growth across its global operations.
