Chaoju Eye Care Keeps Share Count Flat After 24 Sep Buyback; 2.70 Million Shares Await Cancellation

Chaoju Eye Care Holdings Limited disclosed that its total issued share capital remained unchanged at 701.46 million ordinary shares following activities reported up to 24 September 2026. No treasury shares were held at period-end.

On 24 September 2026, the company repurchased 110,500 shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging between HKD 2.41 and HKD 2.46, for a total consideration of HKD 0.27 million, or an average cost of approximately HKD 2.43 per share.

Cumulative repurchases conducted between 31 August and 24 September 2026 that are still pending cancellation amount to 2.70 million shares, equivalent to about 0.39 % of the current issued share base. These shares were acquired at volume-weighted average prices ranging from HKD 2.43 to HKD 2.55.

Since shareholders granted a buy-back mandate on 12 May 2026 authorising the purchase of up to 70.52 million shares, Chaoju Eye Care has repurchased 6.04 million shares, representing 0.86 % of the issued share capital on the mandate date. The company therefore retains the capacity to repurchase up to 64.48 million additional shares under the existing authority.

Under Hong Kong Listing Rule 10.06(3)(a), Chaoju Eye Care is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares following the latest repurchase, restricting new share issues or treasury share sales until 24 October 2026.

All repurchases were authorised by the board and executed in compliance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations and applicable laws, as confirmed by Executive Director and Joint Company Secretary Zhang Guangdi.
