印度航空于周二宣布，将在六月发生致命坠机后部分恢复其国际航班安排，此前该计划因安全原因被缩减。作为恢复措施的一部分，从8月1日至9月30日，公司将启动每周三次的艾哈迈达巴德至伦敦希思罗航班服务，取代目前每周五次的艾哈迈达巴德至伦敦盖特威克航班。
这起事故发生在6月12日，一架波音BA.N 787梦幻客机从印度艾哈迈达巴德飞往伦敦途中起飞后不久失去推力并坠毁，导致机上242人除一人外全部遇难，地面另有19人死亡。坠机后，印度航空实施了“安全暂停”，减少部分国际航班以进行额外预防性检查。
部分服务恢复计划将从8月1日开始实施，公司计划于2025年10月1日全面恢复运营。作为部分恢复的一部分，印度航空减少了飞往欧洲和北美一些目的地的航班频率。例如，从8月1日起，德里至巴黎的航班将从每周12次减少到7次，德里至米兰的路线从每周4次减至3次。同时，孟买和德里至纽约肯尼迪机场的航班频率也从每周7次降至6次。
