On August 19, Luo Yonghao released the first episode of his video podcast "Luo Yonghao's Crossroads," featuring a conversation with Li Auto CEO Li Xiang. Li revealed that he earned 20,000 yuan per month at age 18 and became worth over 100 million yuan at 24, but also experienced financial hardships where his account balance dropped to just 50,000 yuan and even reached zero at one point.
Regarding early reports claiming his net worth exceeded 100 million yuan in 2005 (when he was 24), Li responded: "Anyway, at that time, based on the internet bubble PE calculations, you had revenue and profit, and then they calculated the price-to-sales ratio and price-to-earnings ratio to estimate the valuation."
During the program, Li mentioned Wang Xing with deep gratitude: "I am so grateful to him." He even broke into tears when discussing how he rejected Wang Xing's Series B investment offer. Li stated that Wang Xing has been the greatest benefactor throughout his entire entrepreneurial journey.
The podcast provided insights into Li Xiang's entrepreneurial path, highlighting both his early financial success and the challenges he faced, while emphasizing the significant role Wang Xing played in his business development.
