Value investor Duan Yongping posted on September 9 that after months of using Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD), he no longer needs his Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
In the post, he wrote: 'I have been using FSD for several months, and now I don't even want my Cullinan.' Earlier, Duan had stated that he now accepts Elon Musk's logic that a pure vision approach is sufficient for autonomous driving.
When asked by followers whether he believes pure vision is superior to multi-sensor fusion, Duan has not directly responded in this post. However, his hands-on experience with FSD suggests a significant shift in his stance.
Duan, known for long-term holdings in Apple and Moutai, has drawn market attention for his endorsement of Tesla's technology.
