CapitaLand India Trust deploys 45.6 million Singapore dollars from private placement

On Jul, 29 2026, CapitaLand India Trust announced that it has utilised approximately 45.6 million Singapore dollars, or 30.4% of the 150.0 million Singapore dollars raised in its recent private placement.

The trust spent 37.3 million Singapore dollars to help fund the development and construction of Building 1 of Ebisu under a forward purchase agreement that carries an annual coupon rate of at least 11.5%. An additional 5.7 million Singapore dollars was channelled into the MAIA project under a similar agreement, also yielding a minimum 11.5% return, while 2.6 million Singapore dollars covered professional and placement expenses.

Following these allocations, about 104.4 million Singapore dollars, or 69.6% of the gross proceeds, remain unutilised. The trustee-manager said it will announce further deployments of the balance when they are materially disbursed.
