On October 10, the Ministry of Commerce and six other departments issued a notice on implementing the "Five Excellences" initiative for quality e-commerce, which proposed establishing a full-chain quality control system.

E-commerce platforms will be guided to establish a chief quality officer system, urging them to systematically and institutionally build quality management systems and improve online service quality evaluation systems.

Government data verification will be deepened to empower platforms, supporting the provision of verification and comparison of merchant license information within platforms to enhance platform qualification review and risk prevention efficiency.

E-commerce platforms will be encouraged to use electronic authentication services provided by trustworthy service providers to improve service quality and enhance the reliability and convenience of contract signing.
