During the first two days of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Beijing dispatched a total of approximately 1.483 million railway passengers, with 920,000 passengers on September 25 and 563,000 on September 26.

Today marks the peak return day of the holiday, with an estimated 768,000 passengers arriving in Beijing by train. The "eight stations and two airports" are implementing measures including extended subway operating hours, increased bus capacity, discounted airport bus fares, and strengthened taxi dispatch to ensure smooth return travel for residents and visitors.

Today, seven subway lines 鈥?Lines 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 14, and the Daxing Airport Express 鈥?are operating on extended schedules as a connected network. The Daxing Airport Express will extend service until 11:30 PM, while the other six lines will operate until 2 AM the following day.

Bus services are increasing departure frequency on night routes, operating emergency shuttle buses, and adding reserve vehicles for airport buses at night. Airport bus routes are offering time-limited discounts, with two routes running 24-hour non-stop service. Meanwhile, taxis are strengthening nighttime "guaranteed point" operations, and ride-hailing platforms are prioritizing dispatch to key stations and airports while activating incentive mechanisms.

The Beijing Railway Station area has achieved online processing for short-distance taxi orders and intelligent dispatch management, making short-distance connection services more efficient and standardized. Currently, intelligent ride-hailing queuing systems and electronic screens are in operation at Beijing West, South, North, Chaoyang, Fengtai, and Tongzhou railway stations.

To ensure passenger travel, Beijing Railway plans to add 86 pairs of passenger trains today, mainly heading to Harbin, Shenyang, Dalian, Datong, Qingdao, Shanghai, Wuhan, as well as Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, and Qinhuangdao.

Passengers should note that the ride-hailing pickup point at Daxing Airport has been relocated to the new ride-hailing area on the northeast side of the terminal building (formerly P2 parking garage). Passengers are advised to proceed via Gate 14 on the east side of the terminal's second floor and wait in an orderly manner according to the zone markers and numerical guides at the pickup area.
