特斯拉在AI自研芯片领域取得关键里程碑。CEO马斯克在X平台正式宣布，下一代AI5芯片已完成流片，设计蓝图已正式移交代工厂进入制造流程，量产预计于2027年启动，该芯片将接替AI4，成为特斯拉自动驾驶与人形机器人项目的核心算力平台。
在性能层面，据TradingKey援引此前披露，AI5单芯片性能相当于英伟达Hopper架构，双芯配置的综合表现则接近英伟达Blackwell级别，同时在成本与功耗方面具备显著优势。
马斯克此前表示，AI5在关键性能指标上将较上一代AI4提升约40倍，其中内存增加9倍、计算能力提升8倍。TradingKey还指出，AI5预计将成为参数规模低于2500亿模型的最优推理芯片，在特斯拉自动驾驶及人形机器人等核心应用场景中承担关键算力任务。
