AEON Stores postpones circular on revised annual caps for 2026 Master Agreement to 9 September 2026

AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited announced a further delay in dispatching its shareholder circular related to the revision of annual caps for continuing connected transactions under the 2026 Master Agreement.

The circular, originally scheduled for delivery no later than 19 August 2026, will now be sent on or before 9 September 2026. Management cited the need for additional time to finalise certain information required in the document, which will include: 1. Detailed disclosure of the revised annual caps; 2. An independent board committee letter; 3. An independent financial adviser’s opinion; and 4. Notice and proxy form for the upcoming extraordinary general meeting.

The board currently comprises Executive Directors Takenori Nagashima and Shinya Hisanaga; Non-executive Directors Tsukasa Konno, Wei Aiguo and Yasutoshi Yokochi; and Independent Non-executive Directors Hideto Mizuno, Shum Wing Ting and Wong Mei Ling.

The announcement reiterated that Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited assume no responsibility for the contents of the notice.
