Recently, 14 economic cooperation projects were signed, including a strategic partnership between Moden Machine Tool (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Jianzhou New Town Investment Group Co., Ltd. The collaboration aims for capital and industry integration, leveraging "German technology + local innovation" to accelerate the localization of high-end machine tools and create a competitive industrial cluster.

In addition to high-end gear hobbing machines, the base will gradually introduce a series of products, including gear cutting machines and gear grinding machines, to enhance the domestic supply capacity of high-end machine tools.

Chengdu-based innovative enterprise Bourns Medical Robotics signed a collaborative agreement with the Aschaffenburg Hospital in Bavaria, Germany, focusing on the application of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) in medicine, remote robotic surgeries, and digital teaching. Successful remote AI surgery tests involving doctors from China, Germany, and Japan have already been completed.

According to relevant officials from the Chengdu Investment Promotion Bureau, the signing and implementation of these projects represent Chengdu's precise efforts in attracting investments aimed at "filling gaps, strengthening weaknesses, and promoting localization" in the industrial chain. This initiative is a vivid depiction of accelerating the expansion of "Chengdu products going global," which will enhance chain strengthening and cluster development in related industries, empowering more "Chengdu intelligence" to explore international markets.

During the recent visit to Germany, the city's Port and Logistics Office compiled a list of over 20 cooperation opportunities in the international logistics supply chain sector and promoted it to bilateral enterprises from Germany and Chengdu. Furthermore, Air China Cargo and Sichuan Airlines Logistics hosted events in Frankfurt, such as the launch of a special salmon import line and the unveiling of a European marketing center.
