CMB Cigna Life Insurance has adjusted its general manager position. On March 24, it was learned that Chang Ying, General Manager of CMB Cigna Life Insurance Co., Ltd., recently resigned. Deputy General Manager Liu Jun has been appointed as the company's interim head. In response, CMB Cigna Life Insurance stated that the company's board of directors recently received Mr. Chang Ying's resignation letter. Mr. Chang Ying applied to resign from his positions as General Manager and CEO due to reaching the retirement age for leadership positions, and his resignation has been approved by the board. The company has appointed Ms. Liu Jun as the interim head. CMB Cigna Life Insurance expressed that "During his tenure, Mr. Chang Ying diligently fulfilled his duties and made positive contributions to the company's development. The board extends sincere gratitude to Mr. Chang Ying. The company maintains mature and stable management mechanisms, and this personnel change will not affect normal operations."

Chang Ying, born in February 1968, graduated from Nankai University with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Finance, a master's degree in Actuarial Science, and a doctorate in Finance. He is an Associate Actuary of the Society of Actuaries. He began his career in 1994 at COFCO Group, where he served as Assistant General Manager of the Development Strategy Marketing Department and Managing Director of COFCO Dalian Beida Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. He entered the insurance industry in 2002 and had a long tenure at Sino-British Life Insurance, holding positions such as Deputy General Manager, Deputy Chief Actuary, and Chief Marketing Officer. In December 2021, Chang Ying was approved as General Manager of CMB Cigna Life Insurance, responsible for the company's overall management and operations, while also serving as CEO and Head of Investments.

The newly appointed interim head, Liu Jun, is 52 years old. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Wuhan University and a master's degree in International Marketing Management from the University of Leeds Business School. She began her career in media, working as a political and economic news reporter at Shenzhen Television. She later joined CM BANK, where she held roles including Assistant General Manager and Deputy General Manager of the Wealth Management Department, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Council Member of the Credit Card Center, and Deputy Director of the Training Center. In February 2024, Liu Jun joined CMB Cigna Life Insurance as President of the Bancassurance Division. Since April 2024, she has served as Deputy General Manager of CMB Cigna Life Insurance, overseeing bancassurance and group insurance businesses.

CMB Cigna Life Insurance was established in August 2003. Its shareholders are CM BANK and Cigna North American Life Insurance Company, each holding a 50% stake.
