Lucid Group于周三早些时候宣布，已完成8.75亿美元7%利率、6年期可转换债券的私募发行。新债券的初始转换价为20.81美元，较最后收盘价16.99美元溢价22.5%。公司表示，将使用部分净收益回购2026年到期的1.25%可转换债券，剩余资金用于一般公司用途。
值得注意的是，沙特阿拉伯公共投资基金的附属公司Ayar Third Investment参与了此次交易，签订了预付远期交易，购买约6.37亿美元的Lucid股份。这些股份将借给新可转换债券的买方，以促进对冲。尽管这显示了主要股东的持续支持，但大规模的债务融资仍引发了投资者对公司财务状况和未来发展的担忧，从而导致股价下跌。
