CHINA STAR ENT (00326) has announced a change to the board lot size for trading its ordinary shares on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Effective Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., the board lot size will be revised from 10,000 shares to 2,000 shares. Based on the closing price of HK$6.43 per share on the date of this announcement, the market value of the existing board lot of 10,000 shares is HK$64,300. After the change takes effect, the market value of a board lot of 2,000 shares will be HK$12,860, calculated using the same closing price. This adjustment is intended to reduce the value of each board lot. The Board of Directors believes that lowering the board lot value will enhance the stock's liquidity and broaden the company's shareholder base. The change will not affect the relative rights of existing shareholders. The Board considers this adjustment to be in the overall interests of the company and its shareholders. Following the implementation of the new board lot size, no odd-lot shares will be created, except for any odd lots that existed prior to the effective date. Consequently, the company will not arrange for the matching of trades involving odd-lot shares.
