The Hong Kong Court of First Instance has issued an interim injunction in legal proceedings initiated by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) against seven defendants accused of manipulating the shares of Munsun Metal Packaging Limited (Munsun), now known as HK ENT INTL-NEW (08291), under Section 213 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance.

Under the court order, three of the defendants are prohibited from removing any of their assets within Hong Kong, or disposing of, dealing with, or diminishing the value of any such assets, up to a total value of HK$85.2 million.

This interim injunction ensures that sufficient assets will be available to fulfill the restitution orders sought by the SFC, should the court ultimately rule that the defendants in these proceedings have violated the relevant provisions of the Securities and Futures Ordinance.

The interim injunction will remain in effect until the court's next hearing, scheduled for March 13, 2026.

The aforementioned lawsuit is part of legal proceedings initiated by the SFC against a suspected sophisticated criminal syndicate.

This syndicate, composed of the defendants and other group members, is alleged to have orchestrated a complex "pump-and-dump" scheme involving the shares of HK ENT INTL-NEW between December 22, 2020, and April 23, 2021.

Concurrently, criminal proceedings against four of the defendants are ongoing in the District Court, with the trial set to commence on September 14, 2026.
