美军驻中东地区最高指挥官表示，在美以联合行动进入第四天之际，伊朗针对美国及其盟国在中东利益实施打击的能力正呈现下降趋势。
美国中央司令部司令布拉德·库珀上将通过社交媒体发布的视频声明透露，美军已使用超过2000枚弹药对近2000个目标实施精确打击。他同时强调"更多作战力量正在向战区集结"。
"我们已重创伊朗防空体系，摧毁数百枚弹道导弹、发射装置及无人机。"库珀直言，"简而言之，我们的战术核心就是消灭所有能向我们开火的威胁源。"
美军持续清剿伊朗机动导弹发射单元，这位海军上将将其称为伊朗"残余发射能力"。自上周六行动启动以来，美军已击沉17艘伊朗舰艇。库珀特别指出，目前波斯湾、霍尔木兹海峡及阿曼湾海域已无伊朗舰艇活动。
库珀透露，此次行动最初24小时的打击规模相当于2003年伊拉克战争"震慑行动"的两倍。美军首次投入B-1、B-2和B-52三种远程战略轰炸机协同作战。
与此同时，伊朗已发射逾500枚导弹和2000架无人机。"伊朗在发射这些导弹和无人机时完全无视平民安全。"库珀谴责道。
但值得注意的是，"我们发现伊朗攻击我方及盟友的能力正在衰减，而我方战斗力持续增强。"库珀表示，"整体作战评估显示，我们正超前完成既定作战方案。"
此次行动中，美军不仅首次实战运用单向攻击无人机，还亮相了名为"精确打击导弹"的新型远程炮弹。库珀评价该武器"提供了无可匹敌的纵深打击能力"。
