On 12 February 2026, KWG Group Holdings Limited (KWG Group, 1813) announced the forthcoming delisting of its 6.3% senior notes due February 2026 (the February 2026 Notes). The company stated that an event of default for the February 2026 Notes occurred on 14 May 2023, resulting in a trading suspension effective 16 May 2023.

According to the announcement, the current outstanding principal of these notes is US$400.00 million. In light of tight liquidity and the company’s ongoing discussions with offshore creditors for a holistic debt solution, the principal and accrued interest are anticipated to remain unpaid at maturity on 13 February 2026. Following maturity, the notes will be delisted from The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The company remains in communication with noteholders and advises creditors to reach out if necessary. Shareholders and investors are reminded to be aware of potential risks and exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
